1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Solaria AI ("Solaria", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to your use of Solaria at solaria.im, including the web chat, browser extension, and any related services.
2. About Solaria
Solaria is a privacy-first AI assistant that lets you chat with multiple AI models, analyze documents, search the web, and more. You can use Solaria directly in your browser or through our extension for Chrome and Firefox.
3. Account & Access
Guest access. You can use Solaria without creating an account. Guests have limited daily messages (5 per day) and access to basic models only.
Free account. Create a free account for more messages (20/day), more models, and conversation history saved locally on your device.
Pro plan. Subscribe for $6/month ($5/month billed annually) for unlimited messages, all models, extended context, and Bring Your Own Key (BYOK).
Age requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to use Solaria.
4. Plans & Pricing
Prices are listed in USD. We may change prices with 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle.
Cancellation. Cancel anytime from your profile. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Money-back guarantee. You have 7 days to request a full refund after subscribing, no questions asked.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
5. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
Solaria lets you connect your own API keys from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Cohere, Kimi, and GLM/Z.AI. This allows you to use premium models at your own cost.
Your API keys are encrypted (AES-256) on our servers. We never share or reuse your keys. Usage costs from BYOK keys are billed directly by the respective provider and are separate from your Solaria subscription.
6. AI Output & Accuracy
AI-generated responses may not always be accurate. Do not rely on them as your only source of information or as a substitute for professional advice. Always verify important information.
Solaria provides AI responses through multiple third-party providers. The quality and availability of responses may vary depending on the model and provider you choose. We do not guarantee that outputs will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
7. Your Content
You own your conversations. The messages you send to Solaria are processed to generate AI responses and are not stored on our servers. Conversations are saved only on your device (browser/extension).
Inputs you provide (text, documents, images, URLs) are sent to AI providers to generate responses. This is necessary for the Service to function.
No training on your data. We do not use your conversations or inputs to train AI models. We send the header x-do-not-train: true with all API requests.
8. Usage Limits
To keep the Service stable and fair for everyone, we apply usage limits based on your plan:
We may also apply rate limits (requests per minute) to prevent abuse. Attempting to circumvent these limits may result in temporary or permanent access restrictions.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Solaria to:
- •Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing
- •Create deepfakes, misleading content, or impersonate others
- •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- •Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to abuse the Service
- •Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or paywalls
- •Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our source code or models
- •Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Solaria without authorization
- •Violate the intellectual property rights of others

10. Our Intellectual Property
Solaria's name, logo, design, software, and documentation are owned by BookmarkCollab. You may not use our brand or trademarks without written permission. This does not affect your ownership of the content you create using Solaria.
11. Termination
By you. You can stop using Solaria at any time. Delete your account from your profile to remove all associated data.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law.
12. Liability Limitation
Solaria is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or error-free operation. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, profits, or any indirect damages.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
